At Easter Road, two men, a 32-year-old and 18-year-old, were arrested after running onto the pitch at the end of the match on Sunday.
Three more men were arrested at the ground, a 25-year-old for breach of the peace, 17-year-old and 14-year-old for allegedly possessing smoke bombs.
After the match, which saw Heart and Hibs draw 1-1, there were two serious separate assaults in pubs.
At the Melville Bar in William Street, a 46-year-old man was attacked at around 8.30pm. He was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary to be treated for injuries to his face.
His attacker was white, around 5ft 8ins, of medium build, in his 30s or 40s and was wearing a white or grey fleece.
Half an hour later at Scotts Bar in Rose Street two men, aged 29 and 30, were attacked by a gang of four men when they walked into the pub.
They were both taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary to be treated for facial injuries.
Four men are being hunted by police for this second attack.
