Two Fisher friendlies

Sunday 19 July v Greenhouse Sports (away)
Tuesday 21 July v Walton Casuals FC (away)

bring_fisher_home_poster_wall-1Fisher FC’s preseason campaign continues on today (Sunday 19 July) at Bacon’s College in Rotherhithe where they face Greenhouse Sports FC. Kick-off is at 1pm. Entrance is by voluntary donation.

Greenhouse Sports are a community club originally founded in 2002 under the name of Greenhouse Bethwin FC. After a merger with Haringey and Waltham FC in 2012 and a couple of name changes, they now ply their trade in the Essex Senior League (the same level as the Southern Counties East League) under the banner of Greenhouse Sports FC.  Like Tower Hamlets of the same league, Greenhouse will provide a stern opposition for Fisher’s core squad and triallists.

Expect to see some familiar faces from last season along with some exciting new talent as Dean Harrison and the coaching team test out their options and build for the coming campaign.

Just two days later on Tuesday 21 July, Fisher take on Walton Casuals FC. This game will be played at Coldharbour Leisure Centre kicking off at 7.30pm. Entrance is £2 adults and £1 concessions; kids go free. Walton Casuals play in the Ryman Division 1 South which is one step above Fisher and will no doubt stretch the new squad, helping them to lift their game.
