tell me why

Enfield are down for more cup action this weekend at home to south London’s ‘pie and mash, us?’ Thamesmead. Knockout competitions are always good for a bit of all-in nothing-to-lose footballing action, so expect end to end stuff and plenty of goals. Rumours that it the manager has added a pair of boxing gloves to each player’s kitbag after last saturday’s game have not been confirmed.

Fisher have had to re-arrange their match with Tunbridge Wells as an away game so it’s early train timetables to see just how far they travelling support will have to go. Not been a good month for Fisher, but the south London army will be there to cheer the lads on deep in bandit country.

FCUM will be trying to recover their composure after their the FA Cup defeat with an evenly matched game against Gainsborough who sit just one point above them in the league. There will be a minute’s applause at the beginning of the game as a tribute to supporters trust pioneer Brian Lomax who died earlier this month. Nice touch.
