Running away with it
We said it was time to get chunky for 2016 and the UK’s finest trainer makers, Norman Walsh, have duly obliged. They have just released their stunning new shoes for Spring/Summer 16 and they don’t disappoint. Currently six colour schemes to choose from on the website, each one guaranteed to get heads turning in France this summer for the European Championships. A cool cotton Patagonia shirt and a pair of Peaceful Hooligan navy cargo shorts and the streets of Paris will be yours.
Norman Walsh developed the Tornado in 1983 due to the demanding market of athletes competing in major marathons and races across the globe, most notably the 1983 London Marathon. The shoe featured an ultra-lightweight upper, grounded to the iconic Vibram outsole with extra EVA cushioning in the midsole to combat the strenuous use and offer extra comfort.
They are taking pre-orders now and won’t be dispatched before 15 April 2016, but these fellas will go quick so it’s better to get in there early. We’re booking the navy/grey/white combination. Stunning.
PS there’s lots of other colours doing the rounds elsewhere in the world (okay Italy, Japan), the ones below are available in the UK.
