Serious fucking street art: Amara Por Dios – Newman Passage, London

Incredible bit of hidden London. This appeared at the tail end of 2016, a stunning bit of street art that you can still see hidden away in the backstreets of Fitzrovia.

Interestingly it’s in the very same alleyway that Orwell got his inspiration for Winton Smith’s visit to the antique shop in 1984 where he buys a diary in an act of furtive rebellion. And at the other end of the same passage is the Newman Arms which also features in 1984 as the proles pub.
